I like Royal Oak - make sure its the made in USA bag. Much larger lump than the BGE bags and I like the smaller bags that help keep it free of moisture, which greatly affects lump.

I think BGE charcoal is nothing but Cowboy Lump and that is terrible lump charcoal.
I personally use Stubb's all natural briquettes from Lowe's. It stacks really well, doesn't produce nearly as much ash as Kingsford and how no noticeable odor.

A girl I went to highschool owned royal oak and they always had a ton of it in their garage. If it really is that good I may need to snag a bag next time.
