Good for him. Notice he runs the 40 a whole tenth of a second slower than JJ.

Sounds like a coach in that interview. Wonder if that is next on his agenda when football is over.

No doubt...being his father is one also.

Where does he see himself in twenty years?

"I want to be a coach, just because I've been around it my whole life (his father is now the head football coach at West Texas A&M), been around athletics my whole life, and I feel like I'm pretty good at that. I understand what's going on, what it's about and I think that's kind of my calling and I hope to continue that."

I sure hope he makes it and has an awesome career. He is one of the few kids that would still have a positive attitude after the way he was treated. Class act

Jarrett Lee will be one of the 100 draft eligable juniors and seniors participating in this game this afternoon.

Good luck LEE.

All the best to Lee. All he did was give his all and stick it out for LSU. You can't ask any more from the guy. Glad he's finally getting a chance to get on the field and show what he's got. He had a fantastic game last weekend. I hope to see the same this weekend.

Unless Lee shines in these types of games and at combines I doubt if either he or Jefferson are drafted.

I could see JJ getting drafted to play safety.

I think that is why he is hitting these games so hard. This on top of the draft work out should give him a heads up!

I also HIGHLY doubt someone drafts JJ as a safety or any other position....kid never will be able to handle the “grown up” aspect of the NFL. He was pampered WAY to much at LSU.
In other words he is immature!

Not to mention can you imagine JJ in a NFL film room after a game and getting graded. After he sucked up the field like he did numerous times at LSU but trying to tell the NFL coach how he played well it was the otehr players who screwed up and how if he played like that at LSU he would have been graded highly.

I still wonder how big the JJ curve was in the LSU film room. I mean he put up some horrific games over the last two years and would come out and tell people how well he played after them. Had to have been a helluva curve.

Perhaps JL will one day be a Head coach and little Les will sit after starting 8 games.

I hope he throws for 600 yards, runs for 200, bootlegs, reverses and scrambles, and breaks out into song at the victorious end as the cheerleaders from both teams (if the Allstar game should have them), tackle him in fits of gleeful desire.

Agreed.

Look I'm not saying JL will do any better I just feel he has the better mind set to handle it.
It would be good for him to get on a practice squad somewhere to really learn the QB position.
