So.you believe Mett should have been given reigns all season? Starting over two senior QB's? Both with playing experience under their belt?

No, but thats my point. Lee had all those advantages over Mett, and still disappeared for 5 games.

What makes anyone think that Miles will turn the reigns over to a kid who Blackwell was quoted as saying was goofy and immature? Miles still hasnt let 2008 go, as we saw with his treatment of Lee and desire for a QB that makes plays with his feet, and not his arm

It makes LSU fans skeptical

Does anyone think Mett would start over Jefferson this year if JJ was eligible?

I guess I hav faith in that having a season under his belt and an offseason where he knows he is the starter (like Miles would play another freshman at QB again after 08) that the coaches tweak the playbook more for Mett. We may still see wildcat type offense with RS back behind center a few times as well.
What Blackwell says is about last year and doesn't mean much on this upcoming season. Jefferson is not coming back (Thank God) Lee is not coming back (Thank God) and Mett is the only upperclassman QB on the roster who has at least seen the field.
