Charlotte "Murray" Pace
On May 24, 2002, Murray, as her friends knew her, graduated in the top 10% of her MBA class from the E. J. Ourso College of Business Administration. Exactly one week later, she was tragically taken from this world. To commemorate the life and achievements of Charlotte Murray Pace, the LSU MBA Class of 2002 established the Charlotte Murray Pace Memorial MBA Scholarship.
The race will have:
Live music
, door prizes (overnight hotel stays, jewelry, etc.), Raising Canes and Voodoo BBQ food 
included in race fee which is just $20 beforehand ($15 students) and $25 the day of the race.

All profits go to the Charlotte Murray Pace foundation which provides an LSU MBA scholarship in her name.
Her family and friends are a major part of the event organization and truly appreciate the support. Many of her friends help with the event - The Home Instead, VooDoo BBQ on Nicholson, and Storyville to name a few.
