Okay, I'm sure this subject has to have been discussed but I'm not don't read every thread everyday. And if anyone says "search function", they can kiss my arse. It doesn't always help. And I don't spend 24/7 keeping up with the latest LSU news.

I heard the tail end of a discussion on WIST in N.O. yesterday. Apparently, there is some "rumor" or "inside info" about Lee not graduating timely (or there was the threat that he wouldn't do so) and, as a result, a top line prospect (from Florida, I believe) was lost because of there was no guarantee of an available scholarship.

Don't give me any grief, just tell me if you know anything about this story. I'm curious.

TIA

Since this involved early entry might it be that the limit was exceeded because of the Gunner Kiel commitment?

Some say he already graduated.

Some say he got depressed after the Alabama game and quit going to classes.

Lee and Miles say there is no issue relative to academics.

His eligibility is up so his graduation is immaterial.

Get better sources.

One, I don't have a source for this. I just heard the end of a discussion on the radio.

Second, go frick yourself.

Third, I believe I did hear Patrick Miller's name mentioned.

I think somebody said he finished by taking a class during the winter session. This started on December 12 - December 23 (then off for the holidays). Class resumed January 3 and finals were January 4.

No, dumbass. I came on here asking about the issue because I had never heard anything about it until yesterday. I wasn't quoting a source as fact for anything. Learn to read and improve your vocabulary.

And, by the way, thanks to the helpful suggestion of using the name "Patrick Wilson" I did find this:

LINK

That brings me up to date, I guess.

Again, go frick yourself (I'm in no way involved).

Wrong. Eligibility ends after May, UNLESS there is a December graduation or transfer. Because of the Max 85 limitation, Miller could not be given Scholly until May.

Might want to learn the rules before showing your arse again.

A quick summary- miller wanted to early enroll. Didn't have room for him to EE so he enrolled at auburn. Several rumors about why their wasn't room. Keil took his EE spot; a medical redshirt given to senior; lee graduated after winter intercession instead of fall; miles miscounted-----I don't know if any of these are true or not. Rank hearsay. Bottom line- lost a recruit to auburn cuz LSU not able to accommodate his want to enroll early.

That's a shame. Miles is usually so good with wants.

But Kiel could?
Was it a choice between the two?
If Miller really wanted to enroll at LSU couldn't he have done it on his own, then become a traditional recruit on signing day and be on scholly for summer session?

Ok genius, explain to me why this All-World lineman couldn't enroll early and Kiel could.
