1) Short of something more than anonymous sources, the above should be treated as rumor and/or speculation. Anytime someone on the Rant asks the very rational, appropriate question of why RS was never utilized as a QB, this response, as well as the "despite the recorded assertions of talent evaluators across the country to the contrary, RS really can't throw an orange 15 feet" are asserted by Miles apologists.

2) Even if this is the case, aren't the coaches charged with the job of making decisions regarding the use op personel? I'm sure every coach in the country on an annual basis must have to make decisions regarding switching players from their high school/recruited positions to other positions--Josh Reed, anyone? What was RS going to do if Miles said "Shep, we need you to play QB?" Tell him "no?" Quit the team?

He would have played QB.

I may try to find the link if I feel like it but Shep's almost exact words were:

"Let's face it, Jordan's going to be the QB. That's the way it is, and everyone knows it."

People on here trying to convince you that Shep cannot throw a pass 10 yards, in spite of video evidence and recruiting analysis are just continuing their avoidance of facing reality: that Miles really did F up the QB situation to this level.
