I was a miles supporter and still am. Do I think Lee should have played? Yes. Do I think it would have made a difference? No, unless the play calling was different.

Other than Saban, most people that hate miles can't come up with a better replacement. The fact is that he still recruits great and there are no better options. If you remove the NC game, I bet 99 percent of people would have loved miles and wanted to keep him. You don't all of a sudden become a terrible coach when you have a bad game.

I can think of lots of coaches who would do a far better job than miles. He gets all this credit for recruiting. He will never ever out recruit Saban and with the program we currently have its not that difficult to recruit. No instate competition, top 5 program, great facilities. People give less all this credit. Does he really deserve it ? I think he is overrated and overpayed. He should have never been elevated above a tight ends coach that's all he can handle

Actually, this was just a reminder to everyone that Miles is very capable of screwing the team up. Only this screwup was the most important game in Miles coaching career and he lost it with stupidity and being unprepared, rather than a clock management f'up.
