How many big-time college football teams routinely bench starting QBs during a bad stretch of play? You guys are acting like its a common occurrence. In fact, the most common occurrence is to pick a starter and stay with him. The idea is to let that player go through the ups and downs.

Now, if you want to dispute who should be the starter, then have at it. I tend to agree with those who think Lee may have been better.

But I fail to see how a head football coach displays poor CHARACTER by playing his chosen starter.

And then, for every butthurt fan that wants to have a reason spelled out to them to claim that keeping quiet is a character issue?! Ya'll are freakin outa your mind! I would love to know, sure. But what if he comes out and says something degrading to Lee-- publicly. Obviously whatever it is cannot be a complement to Lee.

Shitty character would be to publicly criticize a college kid so some butthurt middle-aged fat guys like me can feel better!

You mean like Lee was pulled as the starter after 2 INTs in the first BAMA game.. i agree.. normally it takes a few bad games, like JJ has had, or several bad series within a game, like JJ had.....

haven't read the whole thread, don't know if this has been responded to.
