LSU fielded the best team it ever had (seemingly), and we are now known for Monday night

Its one thing to have a bad game ( it happens ) but what Miles did Monday night was inexcusable. Its like he wasn't even trying to win the game. I don't think he should be fired but I think he should hold a press conference and give us some sort of explanation for why things went down the way they did.

Rantards gonna rant. I guarandamntee you if we cross-referenced some of these Fire Miles thread with the Les Miles field @ Tiger Stadium, you would find a large number of the same posters in both.

And all of that centers around the fact that LSU has not really had a QB since Flynn. BLame Miles for that if you want to. And it looks like he has finally got that fixed.

Honestly if we did have a good QB last year or this year you think JJ still wouldn't be Miles starter?

I doubt it..... only one team gets to show recruits the ultimate prize, the others pitch we are just one or two great players away.... you are that player..... join us....

what people are going to remember about this period is the crappy quarterback situation and how nasty our fans acted....

this year will be perfect motivation for next years championship run....

this is what I think....

And the way he handled himself in this 1 lousy loss will forever cloud his record at LSU and as a Coach. Playing devil's advocate here you are already seeing the recruiters from other schools recruiting kids by telling them that Miles didn't lead LSU one of its best seasons in history but the real leader was its backup QB. Miles & the LSU PR team are going to have a tough time coming back from this IMO.

As usual, you are one of the more level headed, rational posters on this site.

Were they some of the same announcers that helped lobby for bama to be voted #2.

Because you know an all SEC National Championship has never happened either.

We are 13-1 they are 12-1
We beat them at home.
We won the SEC

Its another * for bama......not that they care

Especially with the schedule and who all is coming back. (most importantly, who's leaving.)

I know I have screwed up in my 4 yrs of clooege and 15 yrs of employment..One other point I have to get off my chest is if some of this FANBASE were Alabama fans yall would have been after Sabans a$$ after he lost to CLM on Nov.5th, and had a billion excuses of Y!!!!

PS...before one of you Ignorant shits tells me to STFU, FRICK YOU and "Have a nice day!!!!"

No one would be stupid enough to fire the Coach of the Year. That being said, he got out coached and has recently been getting out recruited by Saban. I suspect that Saban will own him for the next few years like Bear owned Cholly Mac until one of them leaves. I don't think either will be fired.

I love Coach Miles. I want him to stay at LSU, he brings great talent to LSU every year. Right now we have 4 great running backs 2 good recievers with others in waiting. The defense as always is solid and as deep as any in the nation. Now the only question we have is whose the starter next year? Zach attack or shot putter part deaux(Rivers) or True freshman Gunner. Im all for Coach Miles and always will be.

You might want to do that 1st. Because the award for the worst offensive output out of 70+ BCS bowl games has only happened to one coach. And only one other coach, before Miles replaced him on that list.

That is a far cry from this type of game happens to every ... yadda, yadda, yadda

Miles is currently the worst.

And only Miles

He's 3-3 vs. Bama and has shown he could outcoach Saban.

Because of a bad game, all of the sudden, he'll never beat Saban again?

This is the kind of mindset I'm talking about. It's ridiculous.

I guess Sean Payton will never beat Steve Spagnuolo if Spag ever got a head coaching gig again. Point being with this comment, is shite happens to good coaches. It happens.

I said every coach at every level at every year.

I'm not just talking about the BCS where only a select few has ever coached.

Calling for his head after am SEC championship and a 13-1 record in the most brutal schedule ever is a bit much.... But the disappointment is warranted. Miles chose his guy over the team and showed coward-like traits when we needed a backbone. The team was down before the game was over. It's going to take nothing short of a NC to get over this. We still have. Great coach but the decision making was horrible.

I don't buy the "it's not fair to throw lee into the situation" excuse. I feel like we were robbed and I feel we need answers. I'm not one of the guys who feel entitled to everything but this was the worst loss I've ever felt and I feel like it could have been prevented. Maybe not the loss itself, but @2 1-0 after doing what we've done this season I feel empty.

How can you say this when the coaches are 3-3 vs each other and we have them at home this year and will probably be favored?

Out recruited? We are finishing in the top 7 with them every year. There really is not a huge disparity in the top 10 classes. Plus if you just look at ratings for recruiting, then you aren't looking at the whole picture.

I think its silly to think Miles should be fired, but I do believe that he owes the Tiger Nation an owning up for the stinker that he put out on the field in the game. I never feel that Les owns it when he fricks up. He always has some nonsensical, stream of consciousness BS that he spews when questioned. I want him to own up to that fricked up game plan, tell us he's mad at how bad of a job he did, and look us straight in the eyes and promise that we'll never see that kind of shite again.
