It was the offensive game plan that sucked, JJ was doing what he was asked to do and Bama was ready for it. Just like LSU prepared for TR and Bama went to passing game instead, get over it.

It was part JJ, part O line, part game plan and a big part of Bama playing a perfect game.

offensive game plan that sucked

JJ is on the offense. He played like shite. So did the OL. In the worst game they could play bad in.

The offense was measurably better this season until this game. I said this in another post, they played the worst game of the season and it had to happen in the biggest of games.

Completely agree. He didn't play well at all. In fact, he played like shite. However, coaching staff put him and the offense in a place that was impossible to succeed.

Who called this play, as he's running straight towards him the whole time

So why not audible and air it out? Why not make adjustments? Why not let your coach know that this was not working? You, the leader of your team. Why not take single responsibility in any of what happened? Why say you made great decisions with the ball, when you did the complete opposite? Why not go to the bench and say "Hey coach, give Lee a chance and see what he can do, he deserves to go out and play."? When you answer these questions, ask yourself this final question, why would you want to defend this person?

Your fascination with protecting JJ is almost disturbing. Let it go, he played very poorly the last two games.

You cant blame JJ. He isn't paid to do his job. Even though he is retarded you have to blame Les. Les was not prepared and was stubborn as hell. It doesn't matter if you blame it on JJ. He is graduating. We should be more worried about Les the 4 million dollar man

If Les didn't know it wasn't working, then he's dumber than a rock.

He should have taken himself out of the game. Fake injury or something.

I am curious to see what his income is looking like the next few years.

Oh. And he didn't audible, because both qb's are terrified of making a mistake

Not only is that pass ill advised. It's very inaccurate.

But are people really blaming it on JJ? While you may not be able to understand it, the concepts of JJ sucking last night, and Miles arguably blowing the game by refusing to adjust are not mutually exclusive.

So when JJ dropped back to pass and his primary receiver was covered, it wasn't his fault that he refused to look to a 2nd or 3rd option, but just ran around until he got sacked?

Ok

Those 2 or 3 mistakes had nothing to do with the outcome of the game. LSU had a lot of time to change something and they chose not to do anything. They just played like there are 10 quarters left when it was in 4th Q already.

I know that the staff is also to blame but why-o-why can JJ never commit to the run on the option rather than run it like a delayed pitch play. Only been having that problem for 4 years. Our success on that play only comes on the other team's stupidity to commit to JJ rather than play the pitch, or in other rare instances prematurely commit to the pitch. Also what's wrong with falling forward for 3 yards with his height rather than juking himself silly for no additional gain.

The image in the my mind for this game will always be JJ running the option laterally straight for the sideline.
