It's a fair comparison, especially their nonchalant attitudes on the field, but Reggie Ball was magnitudes worse. Looking at their career stats from the links below: the completion pct was 58.6 for Jefferson and 48.6 for Ball, the TD-INT ratio was 34-20 for Jefferson and 57-55 for Ball, the passer rating was 127.8 for Jefferson and 104.4 for Ball.
