I'm not debating that at all. But this whole "frick you" hate fest is pitiful and embarrassing for fans of a team that won a conference title and went 13-1.

Had this loss happened at the first of the year as opposed to the last, it would have been different. It wasn't even the loss, it was the horrible, shitty effort and game planning, preparation that have people in dismay.

LSU isn't the top program in the SEC, and is FAR from being at this point. That illusion is gone. Last night proved the guys on the other sideline are vastly superior to the guys on ours. One game? Yep, but it was a huge debacle.

LSU fans have high expectations, we know how high now. They have been capped for a while.

I refuse to believe the gap is that big. We beat the same team on the road in their house. This is all reactionary.

Did the team and coaches shite the bed last night? Of course. But the sky is certainly not falling on this program.

Debacle? Yes. One game? Yes. But proved Bama team is vastly superior to our guys? Not on your life. What it showed was their team was very prepared to play to win and ours wasn't. Coaching? Or team psychology? I don't know. But we are the team that played that team to a standoff in regulation time in their own packed house in November. And we are the team that beat them in OT because our ST play was superior. So what Bama got was a second chance. What LSU got was screwed. Statistics say that rematches are almost always played to the advantage of the team that previously lost.

I agree with this...

We will very likely win the SEC in 2012 and have a very good shot at going back to the NC game.

This about sums it up.

I have no qualms about Collins or any other player going to another school now. After seeing the way the biggest game of these kids careers was handled last night, I wouldn't want to play on a defense when the offense repeatedly goes out and under performs either.

I felt really bad for the defensive players and receivers last night. They deserved better, the fans deserved better, the game of football deserved better.
