For all those people out there that don't have a ticket to the game, would you prefer to watch the game at home alone, watch it at home with friends, or head to a local bar?
Geaux Tigers. Beat Bama. Beat Everyone.
ETA:
Home alone (or with wife): 8
Home w/ friends: 9
Bar: 5

I'm watching it at home with my wife. Not going anywhere. A game of this magnitude I can't bear to watch with someone stupid and I can guarantee if I watch it with a crowd, someone will be a dumbass.

The only way you watch a game like this at a bar is if you're just a casual fan.

The few times I've gone to a bar to watch a big game, it's been packed. I'm just not convinced that the atmoshpere is better for a game this big.

HD, at home, no DWI issue, DVR for instant replay, with or without friends.
Someone would have to make a strong case for the bar.

It's the people thing for me. I watched the first Lsu Bama game at a friends with about 30 people and it was awful. You've got some dumbasses cheering for the wrong reason. Then you've got some people bitching about JJ playing over Lee. It's hard to enjoy the game like that.

I'm wondering if we'll get any input from a bar-goer.
We've watched games with a bunch of good friends. When everyone is knowledgeable, it's a ton of fun. When you've got a few that don't know anything about the game, or don't care (usually women) it ruins everything.

No.
I'm watching at a bar for several reasons.
1) There will be people cheering loudly, and I know that we all know LSU football and will be cheering at the right time, loudly, for the right reasons.
2) 300 beers at my disposal
3) I can have a cigarette
4) It's more fun watching with a large loud group than a couple of people.

It's fun but just can't focus on the game as well at the bar. Barely remember the Ohio State game.

I get that. It seems like it would have more of a Tiger Stadium atmosphere at a bar.

Had every intention of watching at friends house.
Got two tix yesterday, which i don't have the choice to sell, even though I'd love to.

I usually watch LSU and Saints games at home alone or with my brother - but my best friend's Dad is from Alabama and is a huge fan, so he's invited us over to watch the game there tomorrow night. We did this for LSU/Bama I earlier this season and it wasn't bad. The two Bama fans (my friend's dad and his uncle) are just as in to the game as me and my brother. There are a couple others there as ancillary pieces and don't care as much...but they weren't annoying or anything.
Watching it with other people, especially fans of the opposing team, is real intense/fun. Sucks to see them celebrate though. Hopefully they will be seeing me and my brother celebrate much more than them, especially at the end of the game.

I don't mind owing to the bat. In BR all the bars do free drinks for the first half so I get boozer up and have a ton of TVs. I like being with cheering crowds and I always DVR so I can rematch and analyze. It's fun to me to be with my friends and enjoy the experience with other tiger fans.
That being said I'm watching at my place with friends for this one.
