IMHO we were flat in the last game. We never had that spurtaneous momentum swing like in the other games, not even after the Reid interception.

I think Les played it VERY conservatively. He knew that LSU had a dominant D and the better ST.


Being on the road, with a shaky starting QB and the backup having played only a few snaps per game prior, with Lonergan not starting and only playing because the guard got hurt, etc.


It was smart to just hang around and let ST win the game. It worked.
