Yeah, I usually wish a kid the best no matter what team he chooses, but because it is Alabama of all teams, he will be Tiger Bait with a target on his back. Going to a conference division rival (especially Bama) is sticking it to your home state in the worst way.

People should see his early interviews and relax. Dude's family is huge LSU fans and distance is very important to him just like it usually is for major recruits.
All his friends and family are from here. LSU is right down the road. Bama can't offer him more but LSU can. They're both programs with prestige but LSU is at home.
All his subtle hints are there throughout the year. He ain't punking the home team.

no, but pretty much everyone else. you have to admit that our class is pretty special this year. if we land Collins, Goldman & C. Jones, maybe even J.Jenkins, that would make the best Bama class I've seen.

Yea, just like that one teacher who said his GF's mother is pushing him to Bama because she is a Bama grad. Despite her being a LSU grad...

This will never happen. Five straight national championships and top recruiting classes and we will still have some loser diaper-wearing chicken little LSU fan sucking his thumb and whining that disaster is just on the horizon.

The thing is the kid seems to have enjoyed the hype so why end it now. I think him choosing away from home on TV favors bama. Just the opposite of Rueben Randle.
