Miles raise for winning BCS?

Spin off of Chicken's Saban to Texas What if thread.
Mile is guaranteed $1,000 more then the highest paid SEC Coach if he wins correct?
if that is true and he currently makes $3,750,000 and Saban makes $6,100,000, LSU is really going to up him $2,350,000?
Also, is this a one year deal or does he get that for the remainder of his contract? And, does it affect his buy out at all? (not that I want him gone, I love the dude, no homo)

Saban makes approximately $4.7 MM in total compensation, according to a recent article in the NY Times.

I thought Mack was the highest paid coach at 5 mill. Saban's is around 4.5 the last I heard.

The question stands...
Can LSU afford to pay Les over 5 million/yr ?

I believe Les is only going to get a bonus and not an actual raise. Something like $500,000 dollars.

Does his new re-worked contract still have this clause?

there have been other threads on this.
I think the difference in their salaries is closer to $900K or a million.... so with those numbers... yes, LSU will increase Miles' salary to $1000 above the highest SEC coach's salary.... and NO I don't think it's a 1 year thing.... that's his new salary, starting next season.
Here's a more interesting question.... what if Miles IS the highest paid coach and wins it again... he gets $1000 raise????
His bonuses are a few HUNDRED $K too -- don't forget.
