Which plain king cake is the least dry out there? My king cake intake this time of year has gotten less and less over the last couple years. Even when someone swears by a certain bakery, I come away dissapointed.

I like Haydel's the best, but the Times Picayune has a contest going on right now. They have narrowed the best in the city down to six and are doing tastings at each and crowning a winner in February. I think the 6 finalists are Nona Randazzo, Manny Randazzo, Randazzo Cameila City, Haydel's, Sucre, and Gambinos
