While I am not on the "AP Title"bandwagon....there is a HUGE difference between now and 03.
In 03 the AP was a part of the BCS system. After that season, they removed themselves from it. so, they were NOT completely independent in 03. They are now.
Again. I want and expect for LSU to win it all. Just pointing out the difference

I don't necessarily agree with it but LSU is getting the AP trophy unless Bama wins in a blowout, and that ain't happening

Without the benefit of a playoff you're either being intellectually dishonest or just naive to think there could never or should never be some sort of "shared" title. I don't agree with the shared title in '03 but that is apples and oranges compared to '11.

And the "difference" you give-us-any-title whores always point to is meaningless. Not a f*ck is given by anyone whether the AP was or was not a member of the BCS voting system in '03. What IS meaningful is that currently all schools in the NCAA acknowledge that there is one champion, chosen in the BCS game. What the AP does or awards or votes or just shits in small pieces means nothing.
Either we or Bama will be THE champ. There can be no split.
