This deer was #2 and is still holding at #4 since 1998. This guy is a friend of mine. Avoyelles Parish has turned out a bunch of deer close to this.

Is there a website you can go to see the list? In Mississippi you can get your deer scored by Magnolia Records and they have a site that lists different bucks in each county with pictures of the mounts of most deer. It would be cool if all states had websites like that.

I still remeber the day he shot that deer.

Not sure how valid that list is. There are some big deer I know have been killed that are not on that list.

I'm sure you're right, but LDWF didnt have a comprehensive list that I could find.

Nah it was across the levee, pretty much due north of Rexmere.

Here's the MS website I was talking about. Just click on a county and it takes you to a list of deer killed in that county. LINK

If you know the guy who killed it you probably have, it is his personal property. If memory serves me correct it was the first deer he killed of the property.

Now. Talked to several people seeing deer chasing, and I saw a spike chasing last week. I am not a deer hunter, but it is happening right now. I can only imagine with this cooler weather they will be really hot this week.
