should/will spencer ware trim down and become a more dynamic, make-you-miss RB? the guy we saw in the cotton bowl against aggy? just seems like he added too much weight, and didnt look natural as a big bruising back. since hilliard fills that spot better, will ware adjust accordingly?

are you asking if he can do this in a month before the BCSCG? If so...no. Plus, based on what I gathered in my thread asking about Ware's general speed, he's not fast or quick enough to be a "make-you-miss RB".

Ware is big but not THAT big, to where its a "you know where im going, stop me" type of situation
He also gets put in a lot of no win spots though (stats wise) IMO.

I definitely think Hilliard's emergence likely motivates him either way...whatever that may entail (or the coaches ask).
Regardless, I love having 3-4 legit D1 backs. It's almost not fair

Ware is arguably the slowest tailback in the country. At the All-American event he attended last January (where he zoomed up to 5-star status on Rivals), his 40-time was clocked over 4.7.

That is slower than Hilliard, Ridley, Scott, Hester, and Broussard.

Ware loves to challenge people and hit them head on. Not that he can't try to get around them, he just tries to run them over. If he lost weight I don't think it Wouk help anything at all. Simply not his style.

For next season I think he absolutely will -- if he is smart.
