Just booked La Quinta for $149 a night, within walking distance to Stadium. Looks like most places are filling up quick.
Define "walking distance." The LaQuinta may be the closest to Kyle Field, but it is over a mile as the crow flies, and more like 1.5 miles for any reasonable walking path. Not saying you'd be crazy to walk it, but you'd damn sure be tired, especially if your seats are at the very top of the Zone (where most LSU tickets will probably be).

For LSU fans wondering about comparable distance, this would be equivalent to walking from Tiger Stadium to the back of Tigerland.

I don't think anybody is walking straight from their hotel room to their seat in the stadium.
