C'mon JJ! Man, I'm really pulling for Jefferson to play a flawless game. Going out as a Senior, I'd really like to see him have the finest game of his career. And because of such a stellar performance, he wins the MVP.

This is what I envision for JJ:
17-23-252yds. 2TD 0int
57 Rush yds. with 1 rushing TD coming from the 2yd line.
MVP of the game.

AM I OUT OF MY MIND???

I think throwing for 252 yds is too high of an expectation. I'd be happy with 175 yds through the air, with JJ & Co. gashing them in the run game

I'll say this:

Peach Bowl v GT (best game of frosh year)

Cotton Bowl v T&M (best game of junior year)

Both on turf at end of year with some time to stew in the film room

And most importantly, with a real OC and a damn strong QB coach!!!!

If JJ can even out his stats (120 yards passing - 80 yards rushing) we have the win. No interceptions, no fumbles.

yes you are out of your mind! i see him locking in on his primary receiver when he passes, handing off to one of 4 or 5 good running backs and the pitch option.

He doesn't even need 100 yards passing. Just don't turn it over, manage the clock. If he can do that, LSU wins.

He seems to be at his best in bowl games. He won the High school Title there once, so he has played there before. I think he's going to do great.

This.

And this is my greatest fear. Have no doubt, Bama is going to do everything they can to put the game on JJ's shoulders and make him beat them throwing the ball.

He threw against basically the same team last year effectively if memory serves me correctly.

If Jefferson throws for 252 yards, we win the damn game without a doubt.

I want him to have the best game he has ever played. I know he won't be asked to do much but when he does, I hope it's flawless.

No, you are not out of your mind. He will play great and have the Bama defense going 'WTF' just like they did against Utah.

You suck. Bama won't dictate this game, LSU will. LSU will make Bama throw and it won't work.

Bama 2011 defense >> Bama 2010 Defense.

JJ 2011 = JJ 2010

JJ is not going to beat us. Your only chance is for ST play or an interception/fumble from AJ. That doesn't happen too often.
