Yes. Which makes it even more unlikely that she dropped the ball on purpose.

I think Dottie dropped the ball on purpose as a last ditch effort to create any bond, and Kit fricked it up, because Kit was an awful awful bitch who fricked up everything. She makes Stillwell look like a real angel...
Listen, another reason Dottie dropped it on purpose is the camera work. The ball clearly rolled out of her open-handed glove...no effort to clinch the hand or anything.

I didn't get the impression that they only reconciled at the reunion. It seemed like they patched things up years before that.
