I cant believe he isnt bolting after this year.

I mean really, he cant do any better at La Tech, and I do not think his stock will get any higher than it is this year.

I figured he would strike while the irons hot.

You don't leave when you have that sort of punting power coming back next year

Dykes is expecting 10 wins at Tech next year. His stock will be even higher then. (and he will get a better job than Houston).

Tech will return 8 on defense. (lose DE and 2 LBs)
Tech will return 10 on offense. (Creer's gone)

Punter and Kicker return.

We will be loaded next year and the schedule is easier:
at Virginia
at Illinois
at Houston
vs Rice
8 pretty weak WAC teams.

Patton was good this year, next year

Lee at running back maturing

Gonna be even better next year. Losing Broha will suck though

<---- This guy predicted that number a few nights ago.

His salary was about $450,000

Tech should have a big 2012. They only lose Creer on offense, and Lee isn't much of a dropoff.

LTU won me a TON of money this year. I expect 10+ wins in 2012.

Technically, we "lost" Creer a while back. He was always injured, and then he decided that going to class just wasn't for him. Hunter Lee is a beast! It'll be awesome when Holley's back next year and we have those two on the field together! I'm wondering what's up with Duplessis... I thought he was supposed to be pretty good back when we landed him, but even after the injury plague, he's at THIRD on the depth chart? Next year's schedule is a friggin' joke, so Dykes should have it pretty easy. Maybe we can sweep that garbage schedule after we run over the horny toads tonight.
