Cool Story...
My own Mathieu family link--I had surgery on November 17th and was in the hospital til the 20th.
One night the nurse who came in to take blood was a Mathieu...she said TM was her "little cousin" and told me how good of a kid he really was. Said his parents were keeping him in line after that suspension thing, and how ashamed he was after that.
Seems like he's got great family roots--hopefully bears out in his future.

Sheila brought that up, unprompted. She said "He knows he hurt himself (for the Heisman) by getting into trouble".
Awhile back when it first happened, she said her & Tyrone were shocked when it happened because he has never been in trouble before or done anything like that. She said he regretted what he did to jeopardize himself and LSU. She said, "No matter how we stress to him doing the right thing, bottomline, he is just a 19 y/o kid with everyone telling him how great he is & pulling him in all directions, and that feeling of invincibility can go to your head."
I added,"Now, imagine this, you are 19 years old, and everyone is telling you how great & amazing you are,...and then...you the one 19 year old in the country that can back it up." She said, "I never thought of it like that. That's scary."
