They were debating who is leading the MVP race btw Brees, Rodgers, and Brady.

Two of those clowns picked Brady one picked Rodgers and they only devoted one comment to Brees's cause.

"Brees is probably going to break Dan Marino's passing record,...yeah well you can't knock Rodgers for one game"

bullshite

Trying my best not to sound homerish, but Bree's to me should be ahead of Brady for sure. He is not only going to shatter Marinos record, he is going to beat Peytons completion record and possibly his own percentage record. The man is having arguably the best single season this league has ever seen. But I'll take Lombardis over MVPs all day, as Brees would also.

It's not just 1st Take. It's all the shows. I was watching NFL network & ESPN after the game. 20 minutes on Tebow, 1 minute on Saints highlights.

Sigh.

Brees: 417/583 71.5% 4,780 Yds 37 TDs 11 INTs
Rodgers: 322/473 68.1% 4,360 Yds 40 TDs 6 INTs
Brady: 351/530 66.2% 4,593 Yds 35 TDs 11 INTs

NFL Leading stats in Bold.
Brees is on an NFL Record pace for Completions, Completion %, and Yards. I don't see Brady's argument.
(Alex Smith is the only player to start all his teams games and throw less INTs than Rodgers but has played one less game than A-rod)

no shite, thats what I'm screaming..

how do these goons not see what Brees is doing??

Brees just had the best game by a QB in NFL history yesterday and thats not worth a comment?

I can see their point if they would pick Rodgers over Brees bc we all know the year he's having/ his team's record but BRADY??

I'm sure Gruden is going to hype the shite out of Brees next Monday and hopefully that national recognition doesn't come too late

Sigh. This is an understatement if I've ever seen one. Gruden will absolutely moisten his seat talking about Brees.

Hopefully my ATL D shuts that SHHH up though!

Gruden does love him some Brees.

No disrespect to your team, because I think they're playing some really good football right now, but I don't think they can stop us. Our offense is playing out it's mind right now.

On another note, here are the things I'd rather do than watch 1st take:

Open mouth kiss my dad

Get sodomized by 500 angry North Koreans

Watch the entire Twilight series

Honestly and objectively, I'm excited for this game simply as a football fan. I really think the ATL D is playing good ball right now and if we can get Grimes back they may not be as smoked by the deep ball. We're simply sick against the run. If a team can run all over us - congrats, you've earned the win!

And like you said, the opposite of that is true. NO is playing insane on O right now and pretty darn good on D as well.

Should be a helluva game.

Don't get your hopes up, Saints are unbeatable at home.

If you think Seattle has a 12th man go see a Saints game..

When I say unbeatable, I mean it, its not an exaggeration.

Yeah if that was the case the Falcons would definitely get a wild card spot in this year's playoffs

This is the best o-line and the best overall offense that we've put on the field. We're on pace to break the record set by the greatest show on turf for most yards by a team in the season. You guys are playing good ball; we're making history.

Rodgers was a lock with GB being undefeated, until yesterday.

Now, i think its wide open as long as the Saints win out. Payton has shown he will keep Brees in and keep throwing the ball heading in to the 4th regardless of the score.

Personally, I think he wants Brees to finally get some recognition. The only thing Brees needs to do to lock it up IMO is get more TDs than Rodgers. Of course it wouldnt hurt if AR threw a few more picks. I look for him to get yanked the last game or two, so catching him in TDs is possible.
