Is it true that the top of sec. 651 is a student section?

Yes it is. Im a student and I believe its 649,650,and top of 651. That's the upper bowl student section. Not sure what the lower level sections are.

thats where my Saints tickets are (row 23, 2 rows from the top). its up there for sure, but I prefer these seats to the ones I used to have in the plaza. much easier to see the whole field, and you can see plays develop real well

I think the lower bowl sections are 152 154 and 155

For the extra 1000 they are allocating to students, yes.

The 1000 issued from the BCS at a discount are in the lower bowl end zone.
