Hurry up offense

There is a ton of stuff we can throw at opposing defenses. We probably have one of the most versatile offenses I have ever seen. Power I, speed option, bootleg, play action, zone read, heavy TE sets, and more. We can spread vertically, horizontally, and smash you between the tackles.
Is it possible with as much time as we have to prepare, that we can execute all this in a hurry up offense? I think this would put bamas defense on its heals very early and give us all the matchups we want. Or is this just to much to execute properly in a hurry up?
Good idea?

Everytime we've done the hurry up we've had much success this season
Check out the Arkansas game finals minutes of the 2nd quarter
Also either the UF or AU game (can't remember) the final minutes of the 2nd quarter

The hurry up is "the special package" for Lee, so my guess is you won't see it at all unless we really need it.

JJ is best in the 2 minute offense

JJ ran it against Arky flawlessly.

My thinking is, if they can't sub and we go hurry up, we can suck them all in the box with options and rollouts. Then burn them over the top.
But they won't have time to recognize the subtle changes in formations with the play that's called.
Huge advantage

Both qb's have run the hurry-up with great success all year.
I hope we see a bunch of it.

I also think miles continues conditioning the defense like he did going into the oregon game. Maybe he does it good vs good this time though.
In hurry up they will not be able to get creative with their zone blitzing. They just won't be able to do it, I don't care how cerebral his players are

The hurry-up would almost guarantee they frick up assignments on options. It would also give us a great opportunity. All year we have run the hurry-up lead toss for an easy 4-5 yards.
Imagine if we run up to the line, they crash the rb who just tossed it back to JJ.

JJ is not capable of a hurry up offense.

Indeed JJ did lead a great drive vs Arky at the end of the 2nd qtr.
But more than that I think what the OP is hinting at is not so much the "two minute offense" but a fast-paced O like Oregon runs and which we sort of turned the tables on them and ran it successfully in the 2nd qtr of that game.
The pros to this is that it would neutralize some of the stuff Bama likes to do on D as well challenge their conditioning. Since points are going to be at a premium it's worth a try.

I like it as long as it works. I know that sounds obvious, but it could bite us if TR has a good game and starts to wear on our defense. Still, with LSU's defensive depth to handle it, it's a chance I would take. A quicker tempo makes sense.

Its the same thing. 2 minute offense is a hurry up offense.
JJ has a good history with the two minute drill.

JL ran the hurry up pretty well against Oregon

I agree he did it against arky very well. Other than that I really haven't associated JJ with the hurry up offense.

Lithium, forget your post!!!! Where did you get that picture of Santa's helpers? If they are elves, I can now understand why Santa doesn't complain about being near the North Pole for 364 days a year!
