That is plenty of time. It took me 7 days start to finish, but I only worked on it after work and read the instructions over and over again 50 times. Knowing what I know now, I could knock it out in 3 days probably.

I gave the wood glue 24 hours to dry, but the glass only takes 2 hours.

Aren't you around my area? I'm up to $200 which is a direct result of the fiberglass. I probably used too much.

Edit: I've never even looked at a Pirogue up close, so this was truely a crazy experience. I'm very happy with it.

Do you really need the fiberglass? I was reading other posts saying marine paint will do the trick.

I have never built one, but I would think it would be very rewarding and something my son would love to have.
