when i was younger, probably something like 4 with outside back, outside mid, up top,and center mid maybe. the last few years that i played, though, the max was probably 2 with center mid and an emergency center back after a red card or some similar scenario.

I'm a "jack of all trades, master of none," so it's not uncommon for me to play both outside midfield positions, outside back, and occasionally, forward and central midfield in the same game.

I was not allowed to play soccer as a kid. Now, I don't want to embarrass myself. When I was younger and in shape I was built like Messi. So if anyone is to blame for US soccer not being great, blame my dad.

I played center mid primarily for my select team but I'd also drop to center back when needed, also played left back, and the occasional forward position.

i created my own position one time in high school. i was supposed to sub in for a guy playing left back, but when i was about to walk on the pitch, another player got hurt. i went to take his spot, but no one on the field knew what position the guy was playing. so i ended up just roaming around.

In high school mostly wing/midfield. Once I start playing for fun more and really enjoying the sport I moved to LB, RB, LM, CM, RM, F depending on the need. Saying my last few city league teams have had personnel issues would be an understatement

it was the first round of the playoffs. we were already losing 6-0 and there was just a few minutes left. i was a freshman at the time and it was my first game with the varsity. we made the state finals 2 years later.

and if you played more than one or two positions, you're team was terrible

How does that mean your team is terrible?
