Still think it is a loser. 78% of the country wanted Okie St. Many of those won't watch for lack of interest and disgust reasons.

I KNEW it HAD to be about the money. Didn't make sense otherwise. Every talking head for ESPN acting as if Okie didn't even exist. Now we have some facts.

ESPN sucks. I'm getting to the point to where I don't give a shite about their shitty biased analysis. Just show me the damn game, I don't care what your 'experts' think about it.

Wait, am I missing something here? ESPN is broadcasting the game regardless of who plays in it and this game is not going to effect viewership on SEC games next season, which will be high anyway... not sure where they are making MORE money here?

The idea is they pushed for the teams from a conference where they have the most invested as a means to ensure that the SEC remains the most visible and dominant conference. Both the Pac-12 and Big-12 have strong relationships with Fox Sports; now, there's no chance of an upset from one of those conferences and ESPN continues to tout the conference they paid the most for as the best one in the land without any proof in the form of LSU getting to play a team from one of those conferences.
