Revis is only 5'11". I don't think it's that impossible to see Tyrann growing an inch over the next year. I honestly think he is more like Troy Polumalu though. Makes a bigger impact in pass rushing.

The way TM7 plays I wouldnt tell him he couldnt make it

they say this because they know he's a really good player and are looking for ways to discount him because he plays for LSU. If he played for Alabama, they'd love him as much as we do.

i think he will be like grimes for the falcons.... undersized, but a playmaker

Hopefully Andre Johnson doesn't kick his arse like he did to Cortland

His lack of speed is my biggest concern with him on the NFL level. The game is so much faster. His insticts, athletic ability, agility and will to suceed are overwhelming. I wouldn't bet against him.

He wasn't supposed to translate to the college level either.
We know how that's turning out

I am telling what the scouts will say. I wouldn't bet against him.

So what, they and others also did not think he was worthy of a scholarship offer to a major football program. We now know how that is working out.

Hell, if Randall Gay can make it in the NFL, Mathieu can.

Bob Sanders: 5'8" 206 and a fine career in nfl.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Or Malcolm Jenkins, or Tracy Porter.

Courtland Finnegan
I prefer the comparison to a mini Ed Reed. Courtland Finnegan is a punk arse dirty player. Despite what the Gumps say, TM7 is not a dirty player. Dre Kirpatrick needs to stop playing football or go tinkle on some lily pads.

Bama fans love to say that Tyrann
wont make it in the NFL but I think he will be much like Courtland Finnegan at the next level.
I have it from good sources that the NCAA respects the Bammers SOOOOO much that due to their opinion of Tyrann, that they are granting him an extra year to grow up. Thanks for your concern and influence Gumps.

You don't get taller after being a sophomore in college. Your last growth is about 17-19.
