Probably a little bit so. But given the realities of the NBA, at what point do you have to suck it up and pay a little more than you want. The Hornets, like most other teams, have overpaid for players in the past and been burned, but there's the other side to the coun. Nene would be nice.

Barea has annoyed the shite out of me in the past. But the midget can put up points and drive the opposition crazy when he's on.

The problem with the Golden State deal is you have no way of getting your second star because you'll be too good to tank. If you pick up Barea you can trade Jack for a mid 1st. We traded #11 for 2 picks in the 20s and cap relief, if Demps has 2 picks in the late teens and cap space maybe he can get a top 10 pick out of it.
