I think it is BAMA and especially Nick Saban. We all know what kind of ego Saban has and how much the media is playing up his ability to prepare with a long lay-off. The media is talking up Bama, the Bama players think they won the first game.

My opinion is that Saban and his players will be so tight, just like the first game. Saban will not know how to handle losing to Miles twice this season let alone 3 straight to LSU.

They've whined and bitched for 4 weeks that they deserve another shot. They've also proclaimed that they are the "ELITE TEAM" in college football now. The weight of ESPN on your back can be heavy too. I think the pressure is all on them.

Agreed. I think they are going to play not to make any mistakes, which is going to play into LSU's favor. I feel like Les has these boys prepared, and loose and they are going all out.

Personally

I think they will be loose this time. They are not the ones being discussed as GOAT and are not undefeated.

We also better let it all hang out

This team is not being talked about as the GOAT, what is being said is LSU might have the toughest road to a NC of all time.

Yes, we are undefeated and #1 but the media is still slobbering all over Bama and Saban, which will only provide more motivation for LSU.

They have the less to lose. We would lose the perfect season and the title. I think they will make some risky plays.

Both teams are under incredible pressure. It's not about who is under greater pressure, but who handles that pressure the best.

Great point about who handles the pressure best.....just watch Saban and Miles on the sideline and tell me who you think handles the pressure the best.

I think its all on Bama. They had their shot at home, and lost, now they get a chance at redemption in LSUs backyard. Nicky does NOT like to lose, especially to LSU, and I can only imagine how much pressure he is goin to pile on to his players to play to perfection... The first sign of a mental lapse will be the start of their collapse.

Meanwhile, pressure isn't in this LSU teams vocabulary. Goin down by 14 in the first half against Arky? Not a problem. Slow start against UGA? No problem. They are so loose and have no pressure on them, and that is all due to Les. He trusts his players to make plays by putting them in position to, and giving them the freedom to play instinctive and fast. He isnt the complete dictator like Nicky is. The only pressure on LSUs players is the pressure they put on themselves.

Bama, easy.

Do they deserve to be there?

LSU is already clear cut #1 hands down in everyone's eyes (besides any hype machine).

If, by some miracle, LSU loses, they will still be considered #1 in many eyes.

If Bama, loses, it becomes why did they get a 2nd shot?

Les took the pressure off our team being the goat by not getting a 1st down last week. God les is a friggin genius!

True but they wont care.....too ignorant IMO

True

I hope Les tells his team how disrespectful the rematch is. If he does they will win by at least 10

FIFY

And you are correct. We have nothing to lose, at worst we have a split series and split title. At best they have a split series and title.

I'd agree, but not because of hype. Bama loses a lot next year, and barring some players coming out of nowhere they will lose at least two games. LSU on the other hand is sitting very pretty to be in the hunt again.

I understand what you're saying, but you are equating the delusional Bama fans to which TEAM has more pressure.

The Bama team easily has more pressure to proves 11/5/2011 was fluke and they deserve a 2nd shot and... all the rest.

What's the pressure on LSU? Win the game? Every team has that every game. BCSCG ups the pressure, but for both teams.

Bama TEAM has a lot more pressure on it.

Les Miles can nap through 2/3rds of the game and LSU will win by 10.

That's not disparaging Miles and I don't want to come across as over-confident (I prefer to worry), but I am confident (with a lot of worry).

I agree. I am looking for the Tigers to be relaxed, confident, with a ton of swagger. I believe CLM cool, confident, relaxed attitude will serve LSU better than Saba's high intensity, no mistakes allowed all or nothing attitude will serve Bama. They have it all to prove, not us, we are where we deserve to be! IMO

if Bama loses they lose some of their cred as "traditional power" that gets them extra votes.
If they lose big they lose future "benefit of doubt"
