Last outside game on grass was against Tampa on Oct. 16. We're 2-2 in games outside on grass this year. I think the weather will be good on Sunday, a little chilly but no rain. This is our last outside game of the regular season. Bottom line is, if we come out and execute, we should win going away. Would love to see the running game get going.

Doesn't the Superdome have real outside grass?

Excuse me, the MB Superdome.

Shouldn't have a problem getting tickets. The stands looked pretty empty against the Falcons. I was surprised too. When I lived in Huntsville, the Titans had a pretty fanatical home crowd at Adelphia.

The Saints are going to have a good team on their hands here. The Titans are going to give us all they've got.

How is everyone feeling a out this game? I chalked is up as a guaranteed win at the beginning of the season but they've been playing pretty well quietly.
CJ seems like he's back to his old ways and we all know what Hasselback did to us last year.

I still confident we can shut them down by taking out CJ.

I'm thinking more like Cincy last year. They will overacheive and give it to us. We win 30-27.

Haven't yall heard? Per a request from Les Miles, real grass is being installed in the dome. Fescue to be exact.

They're going to put a bunch of UV lights in the roof and some sprinklers.

Absolutely. One of the main reasons we have been so dominate at home is because of the running game. On the road, it has been a different story. We beat the hell out of Jacksonville on the ground and rushed for 101 yards vs. the Panthers but other than that, we haven't been too effective.

Only thing that worries me is CJ2K's return to form right before he faces us.. the worst ypc rushing defense in the league.

I'll be there so I hope we crush them. Would hate to go all of that way and it end up being another Seattle. What a terrible trip!

When they built the first domed stadium in Houston (Astrodome) they thought they could grow real grass inside. That failure led to the invention of the first artificial turf.. Astroturf. Ya know how the original Superdome turf was bad on legs and hard as a rock? It was even worse then. It wasn't even as good as the turf doormats you can buy at Wally World now. The ceiling tiles were clear (to grow grass of course). When baseball started there were endless errors looking up into this maze of glaring panels. So they had to paint them over- thus no more clear roofs.

Well, he did it against defenses who aren't very good at stopping the run. Over the last month, he's had good games against the Panthers,Bucs, and the Bills. The Bills have had some injuries I think and we all know the Panthers and Bucs can be run on. When he has faced good run defenses lately (ATL,CIN) he didn't do much.

True, but we are ranked #16 in yards allowed and are averaging giving up 114 yards a game which also ranks us #16.
