A team like this doesn't come along that often.
The selfless play by a number of players, the total # of those that have contributed is really a testament to the leadership and the relationship between the upper and underclassmen.

This team has accomplished every challenge presented and win or lose against Bama they beat them on their home field toe to toe.

I cannot agree with you more ... have not enjoyed watching any Tiger Team in my life time more than these young men. Glad I was involved in one of the greatest teams and seasons in LSU history.

been living/dying with LSU since I was four (1950) and with all due respect to the many great teams that have shed blood in Tiger Stadium....this is, IMHO, the best.

I watch the third quarter of the auburn game every day....nuff said.

Amen brother, what a year it has been. Now to beat Bama again would be like a cherry on top.

I will miss them too! But next year could look almost the same or more exciting. Think about it!

I will miss watching the defense and special teams from this year. I will not miss watching 6 straight 3 and outs, zero first half first downs and total 30 yards passing next year.

Well said. I told my wife this weekend I was sad to see the season ending. Not the typical end of football sad, but because I may not ever see another team at LSU like this. I've got some great memories from this season and I can always say that I got to stand on the sideline with one of the best football teams in NCAA history.

Win or lose this next game, it's been a hell of a year either way. I'm glad I was able to witness it.

Ditto to all the things you guys have said. How funny, I was literally just saying earlier that this has been the best LSU team I have seen since being a fan and being from Baton Rouge, and also attending LSU (long ago) I've seen lots of players come and go, but this team has something special and it showed each week they hit the field.

I too, will miss those who are leaving. Good luck guys and thanks for giving us fans a whole lot to be proud of.

Now let's stomp the Gumps in the ground and bring the crystal back to B.R.!!!!!

Yea, too bad you weren't our QB, facing a pumped up GA team that was told they had no chance.

I agree with all of the posters. I am 54 years old and been a Tiger fan since I was old enough to listen to John Ferguson call the games on the radio. This has been the most fun and entertaining LSU season I can remember. I too, was depressed yesterday thinking that it's almost over. I actually felt sorry for Auburn in that third quarter. Win or lose, I agree that it has been a special season. Geaux Tigers and beat Bama again!

Yeah, too bad that a QB that got us to 8-0 with only one turnover before the Bama game didn't have a chance for at least one drive to shake things up. Thank goodness for HB#7 and LSU's defense. They bailed out "the anointed one" once again.

We have like 8 sophomores on the all SEC team. Expect some more youngins and the emergence of freak. LSU football will be very fun next year.

Yeah too bad that numbnutz like you call yourself fans of LSU.
Here's a hint for you:
Les Miles knows what he is doing.
Les Miles knows more football than you do.
Les Miles knows more football than you ever will.
Now take your
attitude to the short bus and go away.

This is what is really exciting and that is to think how good the next couple of years (and maybe beyond) are going to be. LSU is looooooaaaded!

Ditto. Will be double nickles in February and this has been by far the best season for me. Enjoy it and know we gonna get some Bama arse and win the MNC this season too!
