when I'm in a smaller town that I'm unfamilar with I seek out small cafes or anywhere it looks like locals eat. Usually pays off.

All the good restaurants are 20 minutes away in Houma though. You should do yourself a favor and drive to 1921 Seafood in Houma.

Flanagans or fremins are the best restaurants. Half shell seafood isn't bad.
