Dear Oklahoma State, I’m sorry. I’m sorry your fans are outnumbered by the Tide, or that you didn’t have Bear Bryant who became Saint when he died. I’m sorry they saw third, when the coaches looked at you. I’m sorry you don’t have history like the Horns or OU. I’m sorry you don’t have the pull of the king’s men in Bristol, a seat at the table in Birmingham, or a chance in a flawed system . You are a formidable foe and you’ve passed many tests. I would much rather play you for the crown of the BCS. But perhaps, from all of this, some lessons we gleam: It’s not national championships that make a great team; at the end of the day, it’s still just a game; and never- ever-ever- get your tail kicked in Ames!

Why would u rather beat OSU over Bama? Scared? Personally i would much rather i win in a game to be vs a tradtional power.

Why are you sorry for Oklahoma state. They lost to Iowa state. It's their own fault. If they just win then there is no chance that anybody can put bama in.
You can think they still deserve it but they lost to Iowa state...bottom line.

What was he to do? Vote Alabama at 3 and everyone says he was trying to rig an easier title game or that he was afraid of Bama. Or that he was playing favorites for a school he had coached.
Also, I'm sure voting the party line (the SEC in this case) was pretty important to him. At least he put them at #3 unlike Saban.

Nothing worse than a supposed LSU fan being a bama apologist. Give bama credit for one thing their spin on who has got the better loss even has some LSU fans buying....pathetic.

Those words are pretty much why Oklahoma State didn't have a shot at getting into the BCS title game. Wasn't the BCS supposed to fix that sort of bias whenever it was envisioned?

I'm certainly not being a bama apologist. As a matter of fact I didn't mention them once in my post. I hate bama as much or more than anybody, but is what I said false?? If Oklahoma state beats Iowa state then there is no discussion, and bama and espn can't strong hold the bcs like it appears they did.

I didn't mention bama. I'm just saying that teams like Oklahoma state, Boise, and stanford took it out of their own hands when they lost a game. I'm not talking about body of work etc. All I'm saying is that if they'd have been undefeated then they are in...bottom line.
