Are you advocating that BAMA sweep the leg???

Just kidding, but short of JJ being hurt (questionalbe as hurt JJ > Lee in Miles eyes), murdered on the field, or suffering a paralyzing stroke at game time, LEE WILL NOT TOUCH THE FIELD (unfortunately)

I want to win just as bad as anyone. That said, a series by Lee in the first half could not have hurt. Let's just see if he could provide a spark. Bottom line-Miles is the coach and he makes the decision. So far this year, he has been perfect at that.

Like most, I am very appreciative of all JL has done for my Alma Matter. Still, neither QB is very good at Passing consistently. Yes, when JL gets the time to set up and receivers can get space on the DB's he is more accurate than JJ. However, against fast, aggressive defenses with good DB's he makes me nervouse with his decisions/indecisions and int's. JJ may have trouble hitting the side of a barn, but he's less likely to throw a pick or pick 6. So... Watching UGA's D Saturday, in the first half, had me concerned that JL would make a bad decision and throw a pick and or pick 6. Our offense can wear teams down, eventually and coupled with special teams and our D, we can stay conservative, pound it out and make up 10-14 points. But, down 10, a pick 6 or a pick deep in our own territory could have been more of a challenge to overcome.
We don't have to take the risk putting the ball in the air alot with our team, so JJ looks to be the best option for this team. Those two JL pick's by Bama were just to easy. He was throwing off his back feet and weak. But Bama's offense was controllable, somewhat. Man, we couldn't give Murry anymore chances Saturday. He was dead on in the first half. Thank god our DB's got hands on some of those passes and the receivers had the dropsies.
I trust Les. Hate me if you want, but he's convinced me he has a plan and won't deviate unless he has to.
GEAUX TIGERS, BEAT BAMA!

I'll bet you $100 that Lee doesn't play unless JJ gets hurt or LSU is up by 5 touchdowns.

Sadly, I would not take that bet. I hope we're both wrong come game time.

Oh I can see JJ has been insulted by giving Lee one snap. Just like i see Lee being insulted when he drives the team down the field in JJ first game back from prison and lets JJ make the score. i wonder which was worse.

Miles' giving Lee the last snaps was a "gift", and if anything, a possible "insult" to Jefferson, who had started the entire game.

I know JJ was not in prison but my guess is he probably should be.

the plan coming out of half time was to go with Lee. However, when we took the ball in prime scoring position, he went with Jefferson as he had all season in that position.

Don't really understand why they would have trust in Lee with 80+ yards to score, but when LSU was given <40 yards to score they don't trust him.

It isn't like he was going to be asked to pass the ball that much on a short drive anyway.

Lee has been more effective than JJ on play action passes all year. Which would have probably been very effective on that short field.

But what about the way JJ loosened up the Georgia defense with his running ablility in the first half?

Offensive line got no push at all in 1st half. Faulk picked up the wrong man and let a LB go free on the grounding play. Ware and Hilliard both stopped for no gain on 3rd and short. 2nd half Td pass to Hilliard worked because LB bit on JJ running it. Play after play inn 2nd half the Dawgs end are taken out of the play because they have to stay home and make sure the QB doesnt keep it.

Wow agdoctor you have the fanboi talking points too!

I know I know when the offense struggles it is never JJ's fault. Always the OL,Wr's, coaches and fans!

Hail JJ he is perfection!

As to the OP's original post wouldnt you be pretty disappointed if you were Lee and performed as well as you have this year and still have to stand on the sideline and watch JJ lead the team to 7 straight 3 and outs?

I never said that its never his fault. A poster was making fun that JJs running ability was a non factor. I'm just pointing out a few plays off the top of my head that his ability to run makes a difference. But then I watch all the players not just the one with the ball.

As do I but I just find it amusing that whenever JJ has a poor game the other players are always blamed. Go back to any bad game JJ has had the last 2 years. Numerous JJ defenders point out how other players performed badly and not JJ. JJ has never played badly according to them!

I agree but both sides of this are guilty. I dont see why we have 2 sides. Between Les, Stud, and Krag you have 3 successful current or former OCs. I promise its the combo of all 3 that decides who the QB will be and thats mostly determined by what plays will be run.I think they play the QB they feel is best for the situation at the time.

Yea makes perfect sense cause JL has proved all year he can not score in prime scoring position.

I wont totally disagree with you but from every source I have heard some more credible than others Les has the final say on the qb's and has always been firmly in favor of JJ. The same cant be said from previous O/C's or current ones. Not saying they didnt want JJ to start at times but they have not been only JJ. Les has been overtly pro JJ.
