I'm having a hard time making a final prediction but there are a few things I feel comfortable predicting:

1. LSU will score less than 20 points.
2. Alabama's D will hold LSUs O to less than 250 yards.
3. Alabama will audible at the line most of the time taking what LSUs D gives them and throw downfield much more than the first game.
4. LSU won't be able to audible at the line very often and that will hurt LSU's offensive production.
5. LSU will not throw downfield much unless they get behind by 7 or more.
6. LSU will try to get to the edge much more than in the last game.
7. Alabama will be able to rush effectively with TR, Lacy, and Jalston opening up the downfield passing game.
8. Alabama will scheme around Mathieu's returns.
9. Alabama will throw at Mathieu.
10. There will be less turnovers than the first game.
11. If LSU runs the zone read or triple option consistantly it will cause problems for Alabamas base D and open up downfield passing lanes.
12. Alabamas O will be successful between the 20s.
13. The game will come down to Alabama's Red Zone performance.

I'm curious as to what your reasoning on this is.

He has none. This guy thought everyone picking bama first time around would have our psyche's down and we would come out flat.

He's an ATPB, so my expectations of him are low.

You're confused - I don't think I ever posted in that thread - I don't post much at all.
LSU won't be able to audible much for the same reason they couldn't in the first game. Alabama disguises it's D and coverages making it difficult for any team to audible effectively.

It's hard to be the same team twice in the same season but I think I still have to go with LSU due to their better kicking game.

As long as Bama stays under 10.....I'll take it

. Alabama will audible at the line most of the time taking what LSUs D gives them and throw downfield much more than the first game.

God I hope so.....

6. LSU will try to get to the edge much more than in the last game.

Ummm.......We won the last game and your coach took chances. It will be worse this time around.

7. Alabama will be able to rush effectively with TR, Lacy, and Jalston opening up the downfield passing game.

Hilliard says "hello"

8. Alabama will scheme around Mathieu's returns.
9. Alabama will throw at Mathieu.

Just what we want...Bama trying to out "special teams" us again......

3. The game will come down to Alabama's Red Zone performance.

Over/Under is 2 visits........I say LSU 17 Bama 10

Bama gets the fg kicker going, but it's not enough.

Special teams are a huge factor again and LSU wins again... 24-14. Bama has the same bad FG kicker and we've got Badger returning punts.
