NCAA 2000 Mock Playoff

Since my 360 is dead, I decided to hook up the old PS1 and play a little NCAA 2000 for old time's sake. Yes, the game is pretty crappy by today's standards, but once I got adjusted to the block players, it was pretty fun. My favorite thing about this game is the Tournament mode. You can set it to 4, 8, or 16 teams, with single or double elimination.
I have never been in favor for a playoff in college football, but it's fun to wonder what would happen if there was a playoff. So I took the top 16 in the BCS standings this week and put them in a playoff.
I thought some the results were pretty interesting, considering this is using the 1999 version of these teams.
This is what it spat out. Simulated the whole thing. Rankings from 1999 are in parenthesis.
First Round
#1 (NR)LSU 24, #16 (9)Michigan 28
#8 (25)Arkansas 33, #9 (NR)Oregon 17
#5 (13)Va. Tech 28, #12 (NR)S. Carolina 36
#4 (NR)Stanford 30, #13 (NR)Mich. St. 21
#3 (NR)Okla. St. 14, #14 (16)Georgia 24
#6 (NR)Houston 19, #11 (20)Kansas St. 34
#7 (NR)Boise St. 28, #10 (NR)Oklahoma 18
#2 (NR)Alabama 27, #15 (6)Wisconsin 21
Quarterfinals
#8 (25)Arkansas 28, #16 (9)Michigan 23
#4 (NR)Stanford 21, #12 (NR)S. Carolina 14
#11 (20)Kansas St. 3, #14 (16)Georgia 35
#2 (NR)Alabama 40, #7 (NR)Boise St. 3
Semifinals
#4 (NR)Stanford 21, #8 (25)Arkansas 42
#2 (NR)Alabama 28, #14 (16)Georgia 34
Championship
#8 (25)Arkansas 28, #14 (16)Georgia 30
I thought this was pretty cool. They need to add this to NCAA 13 IMO.

You should put their rankings from the game in parenthesis. I'd like to see what they were like back in the day
