That's all hypothetical dude.
Facts are LSU is #1, Bama is #2, and the BCS was designed to pit #1 vs #2 regardless of circumstances.
Next and most important fact: The winner of the BCSNCG takes home the crystal trophy and will be declared the undisputed 2011 NC for all of history. It won't matter what happened in T-town on Nov 5th. You can bitch, complain, argue, whatever. It won't matter spit.

If OSU wins their game and final polls drop Bama to 3 you'd be OK.

That's correct. Losers of that game still want a shot at the game.

Does your opinion change if voters put Okie St #2? Then, by definition, Okie St is #2. We'll play whoever we're told, but I'm not convinced Alabama deserves to be #2 if OSU wins out -- OSU will have a conference title (which matters) and will have more quality wins (a lot more).
And the BCS has one purpose, really -- to preserve the bowl system. It gives us a title match because that was the best way to keep us plebes from whining too much. But, above all else, the BCS is about preserving the bowl system. They have to crown an undisputed champ to do that, which by the way, they do not have a 100% record at. So they've failed in that regard.

bullshite. You Gumps have been throwing this stupid argument long enough. The BCS is designed to find THE best team in the land not the TWO best teams. Giving you a shot at LSU again will prove one of two things. You'll have two teams who beat each other and absolutely zero will be settled. Or, LSU beats your arse again and we're back to where we are now.
Rematches are for people who got their arse kicked.
