All-SEC honors? With such a weak QB class in the SEC this year and the way he has played this year, i think he would have been in serious competition with Conner Shaw for 2nd team QB(Tyler Wilson has 1st locked up). What does the rant think?

I think Wilson gets a little more respect than Murray, esp since he's in the west and put up decent numbers against both LSU & Bama.

Yes.
Which is another reason his story this year is one of great redemption. But funny you don't hear a lot of LSU fans talk it up that way which is odd.

yeah, but you also had Connor Shaw as the 2nd team All SEC QB. kinda skeptical about you opinion.
to your original question, if JJ put up his 09 passing numbers, with his 10 rushing, which seems entirely plausible given how he's played thus far, yeah it's very likely he'd be in contention for at least 2nd or 3rd team.

Yeah because we can tell so much of how well he really has improved and become CONSISTENT after starting what.. 4 out of 12 games? Against sub-par to shitty (minus Bama) defenses...

Conner Shaw hasn't even started in every game. Murray and Wilson.

Judging by there total defense ranking and the teams they've played I'd say sub-par, but I'm no Todd McShay or Craig James
