They could not make that cover look more like a comedy if they tried.

To me, LSU basketball is Dale Brown, and the great players he brought in and the great endings to some classic games.

I wish he could have won it all, but at least the games were fun...hopefully LSU hoops can resurrect itself...

No matter what you think of the movie or Dale Brown, we sure had some good days of roundball and the Assembly Center, as it was called then, was always rockin and we were competitive! Sure do miss that.

I bought a copy of Man in the Glass and Ole War Skule for my father for Christmas. He's a Dale Brown junkie.

From the late 70's to the 90's LSU basketball was a blast. Dale Brown was a showman and a great motivator. Hell, I'll never forget that when I was in law school I wrote him a letter of support because some of the SEC media alleged that the team was full of thugs. Within a week the dude sent back a handwritten response thanking me. I lost the goddamned thing during a move.

To me, both Dale Brown & Les Miles are somewhat similar in that they are facinatingly unique characters that have provided some of the more crazy & magical moments in LSU history.

Seriously, someone should start collecting Miles footage now. I smell an Oscar.
