LSU should ban Glenn G. from having credentials or a seat in any press

box, meeting, room, ect.
He doesn't have to champion lsu. However, he has had a number of irresponsible, false, negligent, and defamatory reports against lsu players/student athletes.
The latest really takes the cake. The kids aren't finished with school, final's haven't been taken, yet he's reporting academic ineligibility and suggesting more.
What is sad is that he's an adult trying to make his name trashing 18-22 year old kids. what a class act.
he was false with his report on r.s. being involved with lyles.
he was inaccurate with his report with j.j. and shady's.
This guy is the worst "journalist" out there. If he can't report facts and chooses to be more of a tabloid type writer, then he should be treated accordingly. he shouldn't be taken seriously by lsu. if i'm lsu, g.g. isn't welcome. he can raise his hand to ask a questions, however, he doesn't have to be called upon.

I'd vote for his removal

Amen to that. He used to be the beat writer for Auburn or Bama (One of the two). Either way, nough said. BAN HIM!

We don't get his show here in this part of the country, however, from what I have read here on the Rant, I am all in favor of him having his balls yanked out by a rabid rhinocerous.

I say let him be. Dude provides some of the best comedy around. His hatred of Miles and love of Saban still crack me up. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about the rematch.

WE can ban him ourselves. Simply do not post anything, absolutely anything he writes, good bad or indifferent. Don't respond to any post on any of the forums good bad or indifferent when you can identify him as the origin of the story. he'll be gone.

I am sure that crappy frick gets his info from what goes on this board.
He is an embarrassment to the Journalist community and the Human species.

Dude is THE gannett reporter for both the Saints and LSU.
His articles appear in every major newspaper in the state outside of the Advocate and Times Pic because Gannett owns the papers in Shreveport, Monroe, Alexandria, Laffayette, etc.
He isn't going anywhere

This.
He is probably reading this at this very moment and getting off to the fact that people are talking about him, regardless of whether good or bad.

If this is true then all I can say is mental illness is worse than cancer because either you get well from cancer or you die but mental illness can last a lifetime.

I'm starting to come around to Guilbeau, he calls it like he sees it and I like that.
Where there's smoke there's always fire - Miles response created more controversry than anything else.

He gets all his info from message board (tigerdroppings) chatter.

In that case, I hear Guilbeau was in the shower with Sandusky.

Miles should hock a loogie in his face at the next press conference then move on to a real reporter. That would be hilarious.

Guilbeau got exactly what he wanted from LSU, a response and not some cryptic Les Miles lingo of the situation.
All Miles had to do when asked the question was say yes or no and leave it at that.
Of course, grades should not be a topic of conversation by anyone in athletics because the students' grades are protected from public release.

he is an lsu grad and has been attending games since he was a kid. he mentions this in an article he wrote just a few months ago.
POT, meet KETTLE.
gg is no worse than 55% of the ranturds on this board. i don't believe he does any favors for lsu, miles or the players, but he tries to give the ranturd view to the rest of society that doesn't sit at a keyboard all day.
imho, leave it alone.

Hardly a basis for suggesting he is anything more than a hack for a bunch of small town newspapers.

This suggests that there is such a thing as a major newspaper in Louisiana outside of the Advocate and the T-P. Indeed, the premise that the Advocate is a "major" newspaper is highly questionable.

Probably true, but more because of his employer's indifference (or unwillingness to pay for even a mediocre reporter) than because of any inherent value to the self-promoting bilge he writes.

The Advocate has a circulation of more than 125,000.
The Shreveport Times has a circulation of more than 80,000.
These numbers aren't Houston Chronicle or NY Times numbers but I would hardly call these papers "small town."
The Ruston Daily Leader or St. Tammany Press is a small town paper.
