I'm anxious about this UGA game. Their fanbase is insufferable.

I'm all for local writers trying to hype the game by giving the fans confidence, especially when most expect them not to win, but he took it to far IMO.

This was the header on his web page.

Did you know that a toaster will not survive a trip off a third-story balcony? I'm the guy who found that out about halfway through the third quarter of the '06 Georgia-Colorado game. I'm 30 going on 7, I'm a cog in the communications/PR machine of a major Georgia corporation, and I live and die (and occasionally go absolutely bug-nuts insane) with the Georgia Bulldogs. Surprisingly enough, I generally have a good sense of humor about it, too, but our mascot Uga and the 1999 UGA-GT game are absolutely off limits. I will fight you, and I fight dirty.

Noone seems to mention that we won the majority of our games with our back up.

I love the downplay of losing to Boise State. NO SEC team should lose to Boise State...ever. Sorry.

And not only was Arkansas overranked for most of the season, LSU's own athletics website egregiously lists them as having been "#3" when they came to Baton Rouge -- when the very same page lists their season-opening opponent, Oregon, as having been "#3" as well. Look, I've been covering college football for a long time, and it's extremely rare for two teams to end up exactly tied in the AP or coaches' poll balloting. Either we had a little bit of lightning strike the Ducks and Razorbacks this season, or somebody at LSU is playing fast and loose with the rankings; I'll leave you to interpret which one I think happened, but you should know I wasn't born yesterday.

WTF does this even mean???

I would assue the schedule refers to the teams ranking at the time we played them.

Now, WTF the rest of his ramblings ae about I have no idea. "we had a little bit of lightning strike the Duck and Razorbacks this year"
What does that even mean???

he's actually pretty good at spin, and the article does have a uniquely Georgia fan bent to it.

Fails on the ratings of Ark and Oregon when they played LSU, and of course completely ignoring the Boise St. loss.

Enjoyed it nonetheless.
