I also find this odd because in Okie State's only loss, I am still not certain if they actually missed what would have been the game winning field goal late in the game vs. Iowa State. It was extremely difficult to tell for sure even watching the replays, based on the camera angles provided and the height of the kick. Yes, the Cowboys were admittedly outplayed by Iowa St. in the 2nd half & had they shown up and at least played mediocre football in that half, they would have almost certainly won that game.

Unfortunately they didn't. They would have to beat OU by a very large margin to change the perception OSU has following that loss.

The kick was good. The end zone camera was sitting OUTSIDE the goal post, and as it follows the football the football disappears behind the very top of the upright. Good.
