Who would win the recruiting battle in Los Angelos, Kiffin or Leach?

USC. UCLA is nothing now. Just cool uniforms. It's a coaching graveyard. Administration doesn't value FB. Cali is in a budget NIGHTMARE. It's almost as bad as UAB. I don't think Leach would fit in well in Brentwood either.
I think Leach needs to take a job where he could be himself. I could see him killing it in Pullman, near where he grew up. Leach could also build a dominant program at the U. Leach at Miami = WINNING.

Disagree somewhat.. Budget is a nightmare but I think they can muster up the funds from alumni and boosters to go get someone. If they didn't value football they'd have kept Rick, an alumn, who probably wasn't going anywhere soon and could give them .500 seasons or thereabouts.
When I was out there for the UT game their fans were on a witchhunt to get rid of him. There is a lot of passion for UCLA in SoCal and it's obviously a great place to play football and go to school.

Couple things I'll throw out there....IMO
1) Leach is a Cali Guy, went to Pepperdine Law about 1.5 hrs West of LA, much more into the quirky Academia of the West Coast unlike West Texas.
2) Sumlin's from Alabama, and is about a Country Bumpkin as it gets.
3) If Sumlin goes anywhere, I'd bet its Big 10 (Purdue Grad) Big 12-??+??-??+??, or the SEC.

Kiffin and O have a lot more inroads to CA talent than Leach would
