Just thought of this and it's troublesome. If lsu were to lose this weekend and we drop to 2 instead of keeping our 1 ranking (even if we keep our 1 ranking)

Then OSU beats Oklahoma. You still have lsu/bama at 1 and 2. The voters don't want a all sec NC game so they vote OSU in and drop lsu because lsu's loss is worse then bamas.

I already think voters will avoid a rematch if they can. And if you have 3 one loss teams the one to lose last probably gets the boot.

Matter of fact, if we lose, we better pray a rematch happens. Half of me feels like espn is setting us up by telling us so confidently that the seccg is meaningless.

Lsu to the cap 1

Lsu isn't dropping below bama.

The only way Bama goes to the title game is if LSU is already there.

If the voters have a shred of honesty, they won't let Bama go over LSU.

Not only does LSU have the head to head, but the loss would be coming from a game that Bama didn't even need to play because we won the division....I just don't see many voters looking too fondly at rewarding Bama for that.

Its barely even possible for OSU to catch Bama mathematically.

Don't take this the wrong way but you should probably quit thinking.

This is the guy that got mentioned by espn. He knows his shite....

But he obviously doesn't know that LSU would be 12-1, while bama is at 11-1. With that one loss coming to LSU, at home. No way they do that.

This.

LSU is in regardless IMO. If LSU wins vs UGA, and OSU beats OU handily, I could see LSU vs OSU.

If OSU loses, Bama gets their rematch.

If LSU loses, I believe Bama gets their rematch regardless of what OSU does.

Basically, if Bama is gonna get a shot at the NC, they will play LSU. There is no way I can possibly see how Bama will get in without LSU being in.
