To the OP, Wing was "nominated" but is not one of the three finalists.

I don't know what went against him, but it wasn't being an underclassman. He was the only Frosh, but the other nine nominated were all sophs or juniors. Not one senior.

To make matters even worse, Ryan Allen from La Tech is a finalist. So the voters are suggesting he is not even the best in Louisiana!
